15/0 Delicas are the newest and smallest of the Delicas. They are 1.15mm in diameter, 1.15 mm in length and have an inside diameter of approx .65mm. There are approx. 25 15/0 Delicas in a linear inch. Delicas are the perfect beads for precision work. Hex 11/0 beads are faceted and offer extra sparkle, while fitting perfectly with round Delicas. I use Delicas for my loom and off loom pieces and I am very pleased with the professional appearance and quality of the finished pieces. Bead weaving is one of the techniques that became popular in the Victorian age because of the beautiful luster and fine lines of the beads in the finished pieces. The Delica numbers match amoung all the Delica sizes. For example 10 is OP Black in all sizes - so can mix and match the sizes to make more stunning pieces. The unique feature of the new DBS Delica size is their very fine and uniformed shape, allowing for more detailed patterns. This creates more beautiful and artistic, as well as sophisticated pieces. Fringes made using DBS Delicas swing smoothly just like a silk thread.

There are approximately 300 beads per gram, 1500 beads per 5 grams. Your purchase will be shipped in a recloseable bag labeled with the Delica number. I also offer bead tubes in my store for beaders who prefer to store their beads in tubes. Remember, Delica names differ per vendor - but the numbers are constant.

AL Alabaster (translucent, marble like appearance)
